September 18, 2010 - Training with Coach Tom Shaw

Coach Tom Shaw is an NFL athletic trainer who has worked with the NY Jets and the NE Patriots in order to make them stronger and faster. He came to the GAR compound this weekend to show us some workouts in order to increase our power. He brought some ropes and we did really hard NFL shoulder workouts by lifting the heavy ropes and sending waves through them by raising and rapidly lowering our arms. I learned a lot about how the body works and coach Shaw also gave me the idea of doing 100 pushups, 100 pullups, and 40 dips everyday, regardless of whatever other workout I did that day, even if it was really hard.
