In this debate, I hoped to further improve my argumentative skills and bolster my ability to assist my partner in cross examination. The result of the tournament was that we won 3/4 of our debates. This was a very pleasing experience for us, even though we did not put in as much work into preparation as we could have. We realized that if we put in more effort, we are very capable of winning a tournament and getting a trophy. This was a good experience because we learned the value of preparation.
