Dec 21, 2010 - Stadiums

Winter vacation has already begun, but we don't stop practicing in order to get stronger. Our new Coach, Julianne, has a very structured workout regimen planned for us that involves Crossfit, heavy weight lifting, and lots of plyometrics. I can tell that she knows what she is doing and I am very impressed with her ideas. We ran stadiums today to increase our lactic thresholds and gain sprinting endurance which is different that the long term endurance required for head race season.
The stadiums were difficult, but I had no problem motivating myself to do them because they were so rewarding.
