Today I biked 30 miles on the Hawthorne trail with my team mates. I haven't biked in a really long time, and I had a heavy mountain bike compared to everyone elses road bikes, so I was slow. I still pushed myself hard to try to keep up with them. My quads were quite tired, but surprisingly not very sore the next day. It was a good cardio workout and I had fun looking at the nature on the trail and breathing the cool air. I learned a lot about biking because previously I didn't know how to manipulate the gears on the bike to make climbing hills easier. I think biking may become a great method of transportation for me.
